Government Keeps Eye On Profit Margins
WELLINGTON, May 26. No one wished to keep profits down more than did the Minister of Indus tries and Commerce, Mr. Nordmeye) and the Government, said the Minister of Finance, Mr. Nash, at today 's clos* ing proceedings of the Labour Party conference which adopted the report of the poliey and finance committee. Mr. Xash said it must be remembered. that profit margins must be allowed and that those margins were being kep under constant Government review.
