Sections of the British Parliamentary Labour Party today showed signs of resentment against the Prime Minister, Mr. AtTee's purge of the -LaboUr rebels yesterday, sayr Reuters' political correspondent.. . S>me Labour members professed reluctance to sten into the sh°ec of the five men sacked because in their opinion they had been treatec harshly. They said that othe1 Par'iamentary secretaries enr' national executive members had in the past voted aeainst their leaders and been forgiven. Labour leaders today carried ? s'age further their "iron fist" tactics against the revolt. They decided to send each of the 68 Labour members who voted against 'the Government "on , the Ireland Eill, a sternly' worded letter of censure. The letLer stresses the importance of unity in the narty and the seriousness of opposing the offici"1 u-ng.
