Father! Time To Bath The Baby

Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, May 17. The chairman of the Marriage Guidance Oouncil, Dr. Herbert Gray, addressing a eonference at Scarborough, said that all fathers should learn to bath the baby. "I have a strong feeling," said Dr. Gray, "that many English fathers never even try to take their part in home life. They say 'I leave it to the missus.' They leave all the cares of the house, all the worry. all . the hard work and all responsibility of children, to their wives. Fathers doing this.do their children a very real wrong which is particularly manifest during adolescence. Fathers should learn to bath the baby beeause if they do they wili succumb to the irresistihle charm of the little human being. They wili want to get all the wonderful joy out of its growth and the children wili grow up having a father with whom they can feel safe. That is what fathers are for.'"
