WELLINGTON, May 16. The North Island used 3.37 per cent more power than it was allocated iast week. Announcing this the Electricity Controller, Mr. A. E. Davenport, said the cold wintry weather was the cause. Supply authorities should examine the position carefttlly; Consumption was 34,253,150 units — 1,117,555 units abovcallocation. At the same time water storage improved considerably on the pfevioils week.
