Duck Flies To Gore From Manawatu

GORE, May 11. A ringed grey duck reieased iiear Palmerston North has been shot in the Gore district. It was secured by a party on Mr T. W. Ilolland's property, Waimea, during the wees. This is probably the longest rec^rded flight by; a wild duck in the Dominion. (An Oamaru rnessage yesterday re ported the flight of a Manawaru ducu. to that district.)
