Vandals Wreck Rifle Club's Room And Gallery
CHRISTCHURCH, May 12. Vandals who broke into the Cashmere Miniature Rifle Club's room and shooting gallery took four .22 rifles from a cupboard and shot everything within sight. Fifteen shots were fired into a large seven-day wall clock and eight into a large billy. E'ectric light bulbs, switches and the meter were broken by rifle fire. The wiring on the meter was shot away and a fluorescent tube broken.
