Suspension from his elerical office for two years and particulariy from his Liri colnshire Benehce of Claxoy, was the judgment of ' a eonsistorv court in thc Cathedral Chapter House, on the Rev Launcellotte Bernard Zacchaeus Davies. He faced six charges under the Olergv Diseipline Act of 1892, arising from an Old Bailev case in which he was boun l over for causing false entries to be made in a marriage register showing divorced persons as ''widow7' or "widower. " iThe court ordered that during suspen sion he should not perfonn any rite oi dutv without its leave, nor reside in thi diocese.
