... ■T' 1 1 , ' "Received Monday, 10.40 p.m. LONDON, May 9. Sydney Stanley, a witness in thc Lynskey Tribunal, arrived at Haifa ir an Tsraeli ship from Marseilles, report? Reuter 's Ilaifa correspondent. Mr Stanley at once sent the following cable to Sir Hartley Shawcross: "Sir [Iartley, please inform the House a paraehute dropped me by mistake ovei Tel Aviv not over Warsaw. I am inviting you, as promised, to be mv guest in Tel Aviv with.no strings attachea, just. to show you the meaning of Zionism which you are against. " The cable was signed: "Stanley — J said Stanley." Mr. Stanley disappeared from Britaiii at the beginning of April after failing to make a dailv report to the police 1 under a British aliens order. A warrant for his arrest was issued when he failed to appear -at a bankruptcy hear ing two days later.
