Unregistered Firearm.

Charged in the Magistrates' Court, Levin, on Friday, with being m possession of an unregistered fliearm, William John Taylor was fined 10s, with 10s costs, by Mr. A. M. Goul'ding, S.M. Constable A. T. Kelk said defendant had told him that he had had the weapon, a •303 Enfield rifle, for a number of years and it had only been used for uestroying animals on his farm. If permitted to do so, he intended registering it.
