CHRISTCHURCH DECISIONS

CHRISTCHURCH, May 8„ The Minister of Labour, Mr. McLagan, addressed a special meeting of the Canterbury Drivers' Union today on the carpenters' dispute. The meet ing carried a vote of confidence in Mt. McLagan and the Government. A meeting of the Christchurch branch of the Plumbers ' Union, carried a motion today opposing the formation of a c 1 scab ' ' union at Auckland and voted £50 to the "loeked out" carpenters.
