Attempt to Assassinate Leading Egyptian
Reeeived Friday 9 p.m. CAIRO, May 6. The president of the Egyptian Chamber of Dcputies, Hamed Goudu Bey, eseaped an attempt 011 his liiV when three liand grenades were throwu at his car and exploded while he was returning to his home in Cairo suburbs. The grenades were thrown from a hou-m on the roadwav. They narrowly missed Gouda's car and injured several perBons in a following car. Three persons have been arrest.ed.
