Otaki Railway Bowlers Close Season
The curtain was rung down on bowling for the season at the Otaki Railway Club's green at the weekend, when a record number of visiting rinks attended to make the closing a very fitting. and highly kuccessful occasion. The total of 18 rinks was a record, and bowlers were present ' from Seatoun, Eastbourne, Petone, Petone Central, Bulls, Pa'merston North, Mellington, Kilbirnie and Paekakariki. Games were thor-
oughly enjoyed under ideal conditions, and a large proportion of the contests were very even. A Palmerston Ncrlh rink with De Ridder as skip won the honours by a narrow margip from a Paekakariki rink under Peters.
