Woman Severely Burnt When Dress Catches Fire

DANNEVIRKE, May 2. While working at a combination cooker at her home, Mrs. A. J. Goodall, of Dannevirke, turned to tie the shoe laee of one of her children. In doing so, her back was close to the fire and her dress caught alight. She rushed outside to tear off the burning clothes and neighbours, attracted by the children's cries, quicklv came to her assistance, but not before she had received serious burns to the body, arms and legs. Her conditjon today was reported by the hospital to be comfortable.
