Junior National Party's Social Evening
The Levin Junior Nafional Party on Thursday night staged its first monthly social and dance of the season. The function. which was held in St. Mary's HaT, took the form of la barn dance. The M.C. wss Mr. ' R. Dentin. A barn-like atmosphere Iwas in'roduced. the central attrac- ! tion being bales? of hay in the cenj tre of the hall surmounted with a iscarecrow. Further ba'es of hay Iwere emploved to form a hcrse, i which took pride of place on the istage. D-ftring the evening many jnoveliy fiances. games and com- ' petitions were held and were all thoroughly enjoyed by those pres- ! ent, everyone entering into the 'spirit of the occasion.
