Borough Electors Urged To Vote Tomorrow
The municipal by-election takes place in, Levini tomorrow. Voting commences at 9 a.m. and closes at i p.m. There will h,e a booth at WeaveFis garage, Weraroa, and apother iii tl?e Bandroom, Bath St., Levin. xhere are 2938 persons entitled to vote, they beihk persons- over 21 years of age who have resided for 12 months in New Zealand and hree months in Levin., or rate>ayers whether or not, they are resident in the borough at the time of the election. The municipal roll is based on that used in the Par'iamentary election, and those whose names appear on the latter rpfl and have been omitted from Tie municipal roll can vote by declaration. )?jL?blic interest in tomorrow's byTection appears to be the greatest ' r many years, there b.eing also an unusually large numbcr of candidates for the two vacancies. It is to be hoped, fhpf efpre, that all who are entitled to vote will make a ?.oint of exercising this demoeratic right at the noij tomorrow, as the mportance of local body affairf can not be too greatly emphasised.
