"GOING UP" Be sure to hear this address, ,vhich is of vital importance to one and all. QUESTIONS FOR EVERYBODY. "Ooncerning Eternal Life." JO you know that those who teach that it is necessary to have a knowledge of the Old Testament, .n order to obtain "Eternal life," do not believe the' New' Testament? Do vou know that those who teach that it is necessary to keep the Law of Moses" in order to obtain • Eternal Life," have not kept the first commatodment themselves? Do you know that the Law works death, without rpercy, and not life, oecause of the inability of Man tq keep it? Do you know that ChriSfi is the end of the Law, for righteousness to them that believe? (See Rom. 10, 4.) Do you know that the believing Sinner is dead to ohe Law? (See Rom. 7, 4-6.) Christ aaving died in his stead nailing it uo his Cross (see Col.. 2, 14.) satisfying every ^laim of divine justice against a brokei\law? Do you know that the believing Sinner is a new creature '(Creation) in Christ Jesus? Do you know that "Eternal life" is "Spiritual life," and is the gift of God? (See Rom. 5, 23.) Do you know that Eternal life is a priceless gift having cost the "Life s blood of the Son of God"? Do you know that you can obtain "Eternal life" now, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a'cceptance of him as Saviour and Lord? (To be Continued.) BIBLE TRUTH. Misunderstood Passages. "fOR I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." I Cor. 2:2. This verse is often quoted to support a very prevalent idea that a man does not need to know anything about the Bible, or about the sayings, doings, or commands of Jesus, nor to believe any doctrines, nor to do anything himself, but 1 simply to know Jesus was crucified, and he can be' "saved." Hymn phrases such as "Nothing but the olood of Jesus"; "Jesus has done it ; all"; express the idea that "Jesus crucified" is the "whole gospel." While not denying or minimising at ' all the Scriptural fact that "Salvation" can only come through Jesus crucified (John 3:16 and 14:6, Acts 13:19 and 4:12, Rom. 5: 6-11) it still is an inescapable fact that Paul did not teach the above ideas; and also that he taught, and others must know, other things vital to : "Salvation"; and indispensable to a "saving gospel." If an Angel from Heaven preach ANY OTHER Gospel than we have preached unto you let him be accursed. (Paul.)
