Horowhenua Title Won By H. Frankland (Karori) A good entry of riflemen competed for the Horowhenua championship at Hautere on Easter Monday. They were treated. to a flne day, but a tricky wind made conditions difflcu't. H. Frankland, of Karori Club, won the championship with 99. This is his second win, the previous occasion being 26 years ago. The champion team was from the Wanganui club, and it is notable that it included the only two lady competitors. Team' scores were: Wanganui 471, Hautere 468, Upper Hutt 467, Karori A 462, Levin A 460, Onslow A 458, Petone 458, Ashhurst 454, Cheltenham 452, Levin B 446. Detailed scores are given below.
