A decision not to tecognise the new Carpenters' Union was made by the Auckland Trades Council last night. A resolution, moved by Mr, A. Drenpan, vjce-presideijt of the Watersiders' Union, that the council would not recpgnise any "scab" organisation, and deploring the actjop of the Miplster of Labour, Mr. McLagan, introducing dual unionism, was carried by 81 vptes to 69.
