BIBLE TRUTH. QUESTIONS FOR "CHRISTLANS" CON CERNING THE OLD TESTAMENT. JF the Old Testament is a "dead letter," and it does not matter now what was written in it, was ' Jesus Christ; not so wise as some modern preachers, when he said, many things had to come to pass until he returned to earth, "that all things which are written (in Old Testament) may toe fulfilled," Luke 21, 22; and, "all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning me," Luke 24, 44. If, as many "Christians" believe and are publiely taught, the Old Testament part of the Bible has been done away> superseded by the New Testament, what of the apostle Peter's writing when he said of that same Old Testament, "all flesh is as grass. . . . but the Word of the Lord. endureth for ever," I Pet. 1, 24? and of Jesus, the Son of God, when he said "It is easier for heaven'and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail," Luke 16, 17? Reader, remember, ffhat. nq ,lie; is of the truth," I John'2, !2l, fand of the Gentiles in the Day of Christ's return it is written Jer. 16, 49v"the.-: Gentiles shall come uritd'tlfee' from1 the ends of the earth, and shall say Surely our father have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit."
