Received Friday, 11.50 p.m. SYDNEY, April 15. The ketch Waitangi reached Sydne.i from Auckland last night after a 22 days' voyage. The owner-skipper (Mr E. B. Chapman) was accompanied by his wife, his six-year-old son and Petei Oldham, Jim Evvers and David Stewart None of the party had made the cross ing before. The eo-navigators, Chapman and Did hani, were proud of their dead reckon ing wliich brouglit them straight to Sydney. Early in the .voyage bilgi water put the engine out of action fo> the remainder of the trip.
