Te Horo W.I. Holds Monthly Meeting
The Te Horo Women's Institute held its monthly meeting iri the tTe Horo Hall recently, when ther& was a good attendance of members. Mrs. W. S. Clark presided aiid welcomed two visitors from Auckland, Mesdames Cochran and Rosser. SeVeral apologies were tendered on acco.uiit of unavoidable absenee. During the afternoon Mrs. A.- fi. MacDonald' gave a most amusing and initeresting reading on eariy immigration to New ' Zealand. Letters from early pioneers, with, f acts * and perhaps some fictio.n, were interwoven in tht story, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Members decided to send greetings and best wishes to one of their members, Mrs. K. Spiers, who is in hospital, and to wish her a speedy recovery. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames N. W. Brackeii and G. Brown. . '■ : " Competitions resulted as follows: Best flower: Mrs. L. Styles 1, Mrs. O.
