Sellsrs, wlio will ride hiin at Feilding and Emerge hy B. Ryan, who will also have the mounf on Eaturday. Tlie trial was over a mile eighty feet out on the course proper where the going was greasv. They were given tinie to settle to the conditions and tlie pace was increased a shade as they ran to the live from which peg they were home smoothly in 1.10 3-5 to complete in 1.59 3-5, tlie last three in 42. Both horses are in good order for Feilding. Xgarobi (W. J. Broughton), which j was to leave for Ellerslie later in the. day, galloped seven with Lady Oratory I (Bvan) and in running the distance in 1.42 2-5 was never under pressure. Broughton will ride Ngarobi at Ellerslie. Deseado (G. K. Tattersall) and Mission (W. L. Aitken) worked pleasingly over five furlongs in 1.9 3-5, the lasi three in 42. It was good time in the conditions. | Eesult (Byan) worked well over seven in 1.41 4-5 and was home strohg-j lv in 42 4-5. , I Iinperial (Tattersall) was given useful work just after dawn. He will be ridden by J. Harris at Feilding. Beauform (Broughton) and Crusanne (Carter) worked over five in 1.11, llatara (Christiansen) and Great Success (A. G. Waddell) covered six in 1.23 1-5, Oonfess (Kyan) six in 1.20 with the pare even, Kippo (Aitken)' and Dawn (Jhase (Tattersall) three m 42, Ineident and Xighthena seven in 1.48 1-5, and Zahra and Prophetic seven in 1.45. Herrano (L. J. Clutterbuck) and Lord l^iick (,T. Hely) spriuted t'our in 55 2-5, breakiug 42 for the last three. Warspite (Mrs. Christmas) and Taupo (llely) worked well over half a mile in 54 3-5. Ensign (Htevens) and Lanoma (A. D. Waddell) gave a sound display over half a dozen hurdles, and in anotber bout Hay Fellow (W. Kout), showing plenty of pace, was a couple of lengths in front of Vernon (T. Poad). Bota jumped well.
