Athletic Club Honours Its Auditor

It is not often that sporting oodies accord their auditors musical honours, but such was the case a the Levin Combined Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club's end-of-seas .-n social on Saturday night. Mr. W. F. Cribb, the genial president, in paying tribute to Mr. J. .A. Goodwin's work as auditor ovei a long period of years, Said it was mai, often* that an au'ditor took the .nterest in club affairs that Mr. uoodwin had. "He is one of our si.'ent workers doing an efficient job behind the scenes." Earlier in the evening Mr. Cribb had occasion to offer congratulations to Mr. Goodwin's son, Jim, who had won the 220 yards' senior championship in the record time of 24 1-5 secs. at the secondary school Sports at Palmerston North Jii Sacurday.
