Clubs Hold First Shoots Of New Season
The Ohau Miniature Rifle Club fired its first pracdce matcli of the season reeently. A large attendance of old and new members showed good f-orm during the firlng of the ten and seven-shot cards. Top scores were Teturned by Jim and Ian Horn, while Miss B. Grey recorded the best eard of the evening, scoring 97.5. Detailed scores were: — J. Horn 96 — 69, I. Horn 97 — 67, E. Findsen 94-68, F. Haley 93—68, I. McCartney 95-64, W. Mudge 95-63, R. Weihipeihana 90 — 68, Miss C. Hunter 91 — 63, R. Haley 90 — 61, D. Fowler 84 — 60, S. McLaughlan 75 — 66, Miss B. Grey 97, G. McKenzie 95, Bruce Horn 95, F. Bryce 93, C. Tait 93, W. McKenzie 92, Ian Grey 91, J. Bowling 91, B. La Roche 90, Miss McCartney 87, Miss Aanensen 84, G. Barnes 75, P. Carew 75 and H. Barnes 73.
