The Conservative Central Office stated tonight that the flnal figures "for the county council elections showed Conservative gains to be 560 and losses 19. Labour gained 69 and lost 362. . Of the 360 Conservative gains, 225 were from Labour and of the 19 Conservative losses 11 went to Labour.
