BIBLE TRUTH. Questions for "Christians" Concerning the Old Testament. ty/ HY is it that most "Christians know and care so little about the Old,, Testament, and most modern teachers do not use it as true, Godinspired, and instruo'tive, when Paul, the God-inspired apostle to the Gentil'es, who did not have a New Testament, reasoned out of the Old Testament for the salvation of his hearers? Acts 17:2, "Paul as his manner was . . . three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of' the Scriptures." Acts 26:22, "saying none other things than thdShwhich the prophets and Moses Hi& ! ^ay should come." , A'ctg 28: 23,"lh&jgxpounded ahdHeslifie^Lu^both out of the law of Moses 'aiicLlut of the prophetsi from morning fill evenIf the did1 no importance now, need'noV'be believed, why did Jesus the Son of God teach that all of it must be believed? John 5:47, "If ye believe not Moses' writings, how shall . ye believe my words." Luke 24:25. "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken." Free literature in relation to "Bible Truth" gladly sent to any address on application to H. W. Christie, McDonald Road, Levin. QUESTIONS FOR EYERYBODY CONCERNING ETERNAL LIFE. [)0 you know that the Old Testament had to do with the old order of things, but the New Testament with a new order altogether. Do you know that Christ took away the first that He may establish the second. See Heb. 10:9. Do you know that the keeping of the Law of Moses means "Sinless perfection"? Do you know that Eternal life is offered to those who have broken the Law, and not to those who have kept it? Do you know stead of "life," and that without stead of 'life," and that without mercy, because of the inability of Man to keep it? Do you know that when the wrath of God could hold back no longer, because of a "broken Law," Christ stepped into the breach, and died in our stead? See Rom. 5, 6. Do you know that "EternaL life" is an inward experience and not an outward work? Do you know that true Christianity is the outward expression of that inward experience? Do you know that there cannot be an outward expression until there is that inward experience? (To be contimied.)
