Kia Ora Katoa Will Not Start At Levin
' - u — Pollowing the meeting of the PangitiS;ei Eacing Club at Bulls on 19/2/49' the judicial committee, after hearing evidenee, disqualiiied for one month as from 6/4/49, E. G. Meynell, owner-ti-ainer of Hunting Park, which had been entered for a race at the Eangitikei meeting for which Hunting Park had not been eligible, the race being the Floekhouse Hack Handieap. Under the rule any person who enters a horse other than a hack nray be fined an amount ,not less than £25 or more than £100, or be disqualiiied for sueh period as the stewards of the club or the distriet committee consider lit. As a result of the Rangitikei Racing Clu.h's finding, Kia Ora Katoa will not. start at Levin, or at any other irieeting for a month as from 6/4/49.
