Maori Meeting-place.
As tne fiistoric meetmg-piace' oi the Maori and pakeha races, Waitangi should be the site of the welcome from all Maoris to the King and Queen when they did visit New Zealand. This sugges-ion was made oy Mr. Kawhiti, a member of the Waitangi Trust Board, at ths unveiling during the weekend, at Motatau, of a memoria! to the late Mr. Tau Henare. Replying, the Prime Minister, Mr. Fraser, said he doubted if it were practicable.
