Unrra Goods Srauggled Into Japan From China

Received Wednesday, Noon. MELBOURNE, April 6. British Commonwealth Occupation Forces .officials in Japan have seized £60,000 worth of goods believed to have been looted from Unrra stores in China and smuggled into Japan. The goods comprised Australian wool and fabrics worth £10,000 and American drugs, including streptomycin and pencillin, valued at £50,000. The officials seized the goods m raids on smuggling rings in the Fukuyama area and arrested six Chinese and three Japanese. In the past year officials have seized contraband valued ' at £500,000.
