WELLINGTON, April 4. „E The proposal by the New Zealaq;dj, Rugby Union that the 1950 British, team play 21 matches in New Zealand, including four tests, and then visit AuStralia to play seven matches, including three tests, has been accepted in prineiple by the four Home unions. Advice to this effect was conveyed to tonight's meeting of the executive of i the New Zealand Rugby Union, in a let- j ter from the committee representing the four Home unions. It was stressed that aceeptance was based on shipping arrangements and also that a period of 10 days for practice before the first match, be maue available. It was presumed that the date of the first match in New Zealand would be about May 20. The letter is to be considered at a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rugby Union on Friday.
