A truly amazing demons'tration I of gliding was given at Ohakea last j week by the Australian gliding e.k- • per.t, Mr. Nardinge, in his modern sail plane. Mr. Hardinge siipped the release, actually soared up to 4000 feet, and then carried out a full display of aerol batics including loops, stalls, turns, j etc., finishing up with a beautiful | landing on the tarmac in front of I the control towe-r.
