Manakau Badminton Club Elects Officers.
The annual meeting of the Manakau Badminton Club was hefd recently, th6re beirig a good attendance of members. Mr. J. H. Bryant presided. The annual report and balance I .sheet showed that the club was in a most satisfactory position. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron: Mr. J. H. Staples; president: Mr. M. Staples; vicepresidents: Messrs. G. S. Scott, A. T. Hill and J. H. Bryant; secretarytreasurer: Mr. G. W. Lauder; management committee: Missecs E. Leen, R. Robinson and N. Ryder, Mrs. Morretto, and Messrs. M. Staples, A. Hill, J. Bryant and G. W. Lander. Delegates to the Horowhenua Badminton Association are Messrs. M. Staples and G. W. Lander. Mr. ,L.
