CHRISTCHURCH, Marcfi 25. As a result of having paid out £73 m error at tfie Cheviot Trotting Club's meeting . at Rangiora lobt Saturday, Mr. I. R. Hurrel', of Nev/ Brighton, will have to make good the loss unless the man who received the dividen'd comes forwai d. The mistake occurred when Mr. Hurrell was ' paying out on the Spotswood Handicap. The ticket coneerned was on the second horse, WTackdale, but Mr. Hurrell mistook it for a No. 12 ticket on the third horse, Panic, which was an ou.tsider, and' paid out accordingly. The bettor should have received a dividend of a little more than £8.
