Labour Party's Meeting Well Attended
The annual meeting of the Levin branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Levin, recently before a large attendance of members. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: — Presi•dent: Mr.E. Norton; vice-president: Mr. T. Taylor; secretary: Mr. R. S. May; treasurer: Mr. H. Harvey; executive: Messrs. S.. Wyrill, J. Sciascia, E. Winter, J. Tyler, E. Nicol; minute secretary: Mr. T. Taylor; librarian: Mr. T. G, Hyland; L.R.C. delegates: Messrs. E. Norton, T. Taylor, H. Harvey, O. Hudson, R. S. May; sick visitors: Mr. and Mrs. J. Sciascia; superintendents of Junior Labour Party: Messrs. O. Hudson and R. S. May. The president of the women's social committee, Mrs. McKinstry, presented Mr. Harvey with an illuminated address, and Mrs. Doherty presented Mrs. Bowden with a wall mirror, for the services ,hese officers had rendered to the committee.
