Britain's New Atomic Plant

Received Tuesday, "8.50 p.m. LONDON, March 22. Rapid progress is being made with the erection of Britain's second large atomic developmeni plant at Sftllaflelii in Cumberland. There are 2500 men now engaged on the erection of build ings, the construction of a subsidiary railway line and preparations for the constnictib'n of a pipeline Which will run several miles out to sea to dis^ charge the effluent. One of the two main buildings is already almost com plete and the other almost Iwo-thirds built. Both buildings - wiil have. chimney staelcs almost 500 feet high.
