Concern At Communist Influence
"That this conference expresses to the Government its concern at the growing influence of Communism in New Zealand, particularly in apprenticeship committees and eertain deparlments of the Civil Service," was a remit carried unanimously by the conference of the New Zealand Federated Builders' and Contractors' Association ofEmployers at Wanganui .yesterday. The remit was presented ,by the' Otago association whose delegates said that the treat of Communism was viewed with alarm there.
