Prospect Of Cold Legs For Women This Winter

WELLIN'GTON," March 14. Betailers were coneerned at the prospect of continuing and sevlre shortages of nylon and lisle stockings for New Zealand women, said' Mr. G. L. Riley, seeretary of the New Zealand JRetailers ' Federation, today. He said import licences had so far been witHlield and retailers were alartned about •futnre' .supplies. ' ' Mr. Riley added that on December 7 last advice was received from' tihe'Cbn fcroller of Customs that applications w'ould be conriidersd from reguJhr importers for licences to import women's full -length lisle Stockings.
