Persohal Mr/ and Mrs. W. H. Ralph, bf Mill Road, after three weeks at Paraparaumu Beach, have returned to Otaki. Mr. and Mrs. P. Simcox, of Forest -Lakes, nave returped home afcer an. extended motor trip in the North. Mrs., S. Edwards, of Mill Road, who is a patient in the Palmerston North Hospital, is reported to be progressing favourably, and is expected home in the near future. Mr. Ewan Hampton, a popular member of the Otaki telepnone exehange staff, has commenced duties in the post offiee stores branch, Wellington. Mrs. L. Housiaux, of Rangiuru Road, following a stay in Pa merston North, has returned home. Sne will travel to Nelson by air on Wed-

Footballers Preparing With the cessation of athletics locallyj pfeparations are being made for some early football practice. Rahui will hold their annual meeting tonight, when enrolments for the new season will be taken. The Otaki club will meet on Thursday night to discuss matters in connection with the forthcoming annual meeting.
