iseveral charges of '.wandering stock were preferred against resi'dents of Tokomaru in the 'Magistrate's Court, Levin, yesterday, before Mr. A. M. Robert Waghorn was charged With being the owner of one cow found wandering in Rata Street. He was convicted and fined 5s. Costs amounted to £1 2s 6d. . Elizabeth Atkinson was charged With permitting four cows to Wander in Nikau Street. It was stated by Mr. Cressy that defendant had appeared on a sinhlar charge recently. She was convicted and fined. 30s, with costs £1 2s 6d. Alexander Campbell was charged with permitting four cows to •wan'der in^Riwa Riwa Street. He Was fined £1. Costs were £1 2s 6d,
