Campaign For Radio Station
A drive to enlist local body, farming, dramatie, mus-ical, church and sports interests in representations to the Minister of Broadcasting for the installation of a radio station in Masterton covering the Wairarapa distriet has begun. The Masterton Chamber of Commerce is initiating a move for a deputation before Parliament sits. It was stated that, although the Wairarapa distriet had paid 250,000 licence fees, reception, of outside stations was popr.
