AUCKLAND, March 9. Auckland railway workers involved in the carpenters' dispute, were in strueted today -by the national. executive of the Amalgamated Society oi' Railway Servants, to resume norma! work. The instructions, which were sent to both the Auckland and Otahuhu branches of the society, added that no action was to be taken by any brancli without instructions from the executive conneil. A special meeting of the executivi-, of the Auckland branch was held to night following receipt of the instrue tions from the national executive, an! the following resolution was passed "This executive qf the Auckland branch of the A.S.R.S., is prepared to lift the ban if the Prime Minister wili_ bring down an Order-in-Council to pre \-ent employers refusing work wheri available, to locked out workers."
