AUCKLAND, March 9. Over 8000 tons of coal for the R&ilways Degartment from Sonth Africa, will arrive in Auckland on Saturday on the motor ship- African . Prince. The coal is from Transvaal and was shipped throngh Lourenco Marques, Portuguese Africa. Mr. F. W. Aikin, General Manager of Railways, said in a telephone interview to Wellington that the coal was of reasonably good quality. "We have been held up in coal supplies from Africa beeause of the shortage of railway trucks from the coalfields "to the port of shipment," he continued. .
