GLASSWORKERS SUPPORT CARPENTERS
, AUCKLAND, March 7. A stopwork meeting of 250 members of the Glassworkers ' Union at Penrose today resolved to give fmancial and moral support to the carpenters in the present dispute. The meeting, which was held at the works of the New Zealand Glass Manufacturers Co., Pty., Ltd., -lasted two hours and a quarter. it was addressed by the secretaries of the Glassworkers', Carpenters' and Drivers' Unions. The Glassworkers' Union secretary stated later that the workers had agreed unanimously to abide by the recoinmendations of the national council of the Federation of Labour and thc Auckland Trades Council.
