Flying Visit To Britain To Discuss Milk Products

WELLINGTON, March 7. On a Mying! visit to London to discuss the export of milk products (other than butter and cheese) to Britain, th chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission, Mr. William Marshall, will leave the Dominion on March 15. He hopes to be. back within three weeks. Mr. Marshall said today his visit to London was for special discussions on milk products and did not affect exisr ing contracts.with the Ministry of Food. So that interested dairy companies' mlght know the result of negotiations in time to- plan their production prugramme for the new season, he hoped to be back early in April. Mr. Marshall said arrangement had not yet been made for the annual discussions on existing contracts but the.y would probably take place in London in June. The delegation from the Commission for tliese taiks would consist of himself as chairman and two other niembers. One of the delegation would be Mr. H. E. Blyde, and as Mr. Blyde patricularly wished to visit the Continent and to make himself acquainted with marketing procedure in the the United Kingdom, he was leaving for England this month in the Corinthic.
