Received Tuesday, 10.25 a.m. LONDON, March 7. The Commonweaith Prime Ministers or Foreign Ministers are expected po meet soon "for round table i/aixs whicn will Include subjects of mutual defence and Communist activity in South-easfe Asia, says Keuter's political correspondent. * The Commohwea.th Foreign Ministers' meeting, which was proposed fdr Ceylon in May, has been postponed,' but urgent consultations are proceeding with a view to x conierence, probably about the same period, at an alternative place. The fact that the conference may be raised to Prime Ministers' level indicated the importance auacnea jO eariy contact. -Politicai quarters assume that high priority would be given to Gommunism in the Far East. The date of the Foreign Ministers' conference may be brought forward to some time in April, says the DaLy Telegraph's political correspondent. The plan for taiks in Ceyion has been - abandoned because of various difficulties includmg the meeting of United Nations in April, and the impending eleccions in Canada and Australia and possibly South Africa. Discussions are now proceeding to arrange an alternative da^e which would not clash with the United Nations meeting. The conference may be ne.d in London or Ottawa.
