Air Force Disasters

Received Sunday, 7 p.m. TOKIO, March 5. Six American fliers were killed and two critically injured last night when a United States Air Force transport plane crashed soon after taking oif from Okinawa for Tokio. The transport carried 22 persons including the erew. American Air Force headquarters at Wiesbaden stated that a four-engined American airlift plane exploded in the air near the American-Soviet border today. 'The erew of another airlift plane saw three airmen bail out.
