WELLINGTON, March 4. The Minister of Health, Miss Mabel Howard, commenting on the statements by the visiting English expert on local gavernment, Dr. E.. W. Marples,, concerning medicinal drugs conaumed in New Zealand, said it waa really the medical- profession of New Zealand with whom Dr. Marples had embroiied himself. '' ' ?V "I can aasure him the Government leaves the doctors' prescrip'tions to the doctors and if he- is alarmed at the ainount of drugs conaumed, he shouid diacuss the inatte'r with the British Medical Association. " She was afraid Dr. Marples was viewing New Zea,land's small population setup froin the viewpoint qf .Englajid's v.ast population.'
