The February meeting of'*the Tasman Beach. ..Wojnen's Instituie took 'the form of a'garden party' in the grounds of Mr. and Mrs.^ F. Critchley, Otaki Beach. The president, Mrs. G. H. Mitqhell being the winner of the shrubs and trees competition, while Mrs, Jensen carried off the croquet prize. A competition was wqn" .'by Mrs. "Badlands. ' il' 1 | The bring-and^buy 'stall did fferfsk business under the management of Miss. Pat. Fogden. It was unanimously agreed that from the iproceedst of the stall a parcel be seht to the Mission Mansfield HO.use, Settlement Barking Road, Canning Town, London. Mrs. Hawkins offered to do the packing and sending of the parcel. ^ ^ ^ Mrs. R. Duncan, on behalf of the institute, thanked Mr. and Mrs. Critchley for the use , of their grounds and for the very enjoyable "afternoon that had been spenfc there. A dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses.
