High-speed handling of the programme by the ' officials ,resulted in non-suop competition at the weekly club night of the Levin Combined Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club, which took place on the Levin Park. Domain last > evening. ... Extra large fields predominated in the athletic events and some very close and exciting finishes were witnes'sed. The match races for Gorden and Siiver Helmets created great interest among the cyclists, Parker and Connolly ' narrowly managing to retain their titles.
