AUCKLAND, Feb. 25. Swimmers wlio are possibilities for selection in the team to represent NeW Zealand at the Empire Games in Auckland next year will be nanied immediately after the national champioliships, said the fresident of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming , A&soeiation (Mr Baxter O 'Neill) at the conference of centre delegates today. A compreliehsive system for training swimmers iu the Doniinion was mapped otlt. The Empire Games team Will attend a training school in Auckland two Weeks before the games start, aiid a trainirig school for leading and promising swimmers will, if praeticable, be provided iii October. The principle of annual training schools was adopted and amateur coaches from all eentres will be invited to attend as observers. Mr P. Coira (Christchurch) suggested that the GoVernnrent should emplov oue experienced eoacli in each of the Nortli and South Islands. Nominations f oi" oliicials for swirtiftiing events at the Empire Games will be called for iinmediatpiy.
